A Day in London, February 2nd, 2012

London Stations, Passed through on my way to other places.
The Wellcome Trust

The National Portrait Gallery

A cold day, my head feeling full of a cold too. Still, beautiful things to see, experience and enjoy.

At the Wellcome Trust, I visited Miracles and Charms. An exhibition filled with objects and art that people have endowed with mystical, spiritual and magical properties.

Miss Silver

I came across this shop window display in Gloucester. I was excited by the work and the way the display has been composed. Refelctions on the window and shadows from the low winter light provided filter and lighting effects.

It would be good to see more bespoke, individual, creative retail outlets on our streets. I hope that Miss Silver thrives.

The 60's and 50's styles are striking and the red and black colours dramatic.

The reflections suggest a glimpse of Gloucester today, in contrast.

A Morining Walk in Coleford, 23rd December 2011

On a morning, close to Christmas, I took an hour to walk through lower Coleford. Its a quiet, beautiful place. The morning, slowy brightening up.

These fields and places in which I grew up, filled with memories.

Evesham, Sunday 11th December

A reflection day! Life seen in the last of a year. A day alone but worthwhile for time and space to think.

A cloudy Sunday. Mist in the air making the views unclear, but still, an amazing place.
